• Any member with an account in good standing needing assistance with higher education (university, college, or technical/vocational school) tuition may apply.

• You may save your application and return to it at any time.

• Incomplete applications will not be considered. A complete application includes:

  • completion of online application form and essay

  • uploaded transcript or proof of enrollment

  • Blue Eagle Credit Union account in good standing of which the applicant is the primary owner. Not a member yet? Get started today! The process is easy.

How it started

The Alexanders were two of Blue Eagle Credit Union's founding members. They dedicated many years of service to our credit union and even operated out of their home in those early days of our credit union's history. Their sound foundation of quality member service and financial integrity still resonate with our members today. In honor of Alec and Doris Alexander, we award ten $1,000 scholarships annually.

Through the Alexander Scholarship, we aim to support individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to their community. The application period is open in the spring of each year and members of any age attending higher education (college, university, technical school, or vocational school) may apply below.
